Christy Sheeler is an artist and educator. Through watercolor art, she focuses on nature's effect with calm, stillness, peace, and joy.
She is fascinated in seeing art in everything around her. Nature is an endless and ever changing inspiration. By being outside and viewing these beautiful places, her spirit is calmed.
These landscapes and florals bring a temporary visual escape when she is tired or stressed. With the watercolors, these places are recorded with the emotion experienced there. The process of painting the artwork brings a calming effect and that becomes a part of the artwork. When she paints these views, the artwork makes this available for others to see and enjoy.
Christy lives with her husband, Tracy, and their two children, Taitum and T.J. in north central Montana.
