Hand Painted Watercolor Magnets

Bringing watercolor painting to a new surface, these 3" magnets are miniature pieces of artwork for kitchen or office.  The surface of the magnet has a canvas like texture and once primed with two coats of white watercolor ground, I begin to create with a sketch.  The artwork is painted with my smallest brushes to capture the finest details.  Once the artwork is done, a protective coating is applied with cold wax.  Each one is unique with great care, resulting in a colorful and intricate piece.

Please note:  The pink rose has been painted on watercolor paper, sealed with cold wax, and then mounted on magnet surface.  This is the one exception to the description given above.
