Resilient Spirit

In the midst of a stressful and chaotic day, this bluebird brings inspiration to carry on with a resilient spirit.  In the process of painting this piece, the background was a bold decision.  Even while a quiet voice in my head spoke of doubt, I painted blue, lavender, green and brown onto the paper.  Strokes of courage and strength.  This little bluebird is taking a firm stance and unabashedly resilient.

The scanned image does not reflect the upper background correctly; the blue tones are hard to capture.  I will list this piece with an additional photo taken for social media posts.
